Banana Cake

Ingredients:

(A) Banana 290g
Yeast 4.5g

(B) Eggs 220g

(C) Sugar 240g
Plain Flour 300g
Baking Powder 7.5g
Sodium B 3g
Salt 3g
Overlette 6g
Corn Oil 200g

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 200*C.
2. Blend A for 10 mins. Set aside.
3. Beat C until well combined, then at in A, and then add in B slowly.
4. Pour the batter evenly into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 200*C for 30 mins and then 160*C for 20
mins or until well done.

Pumpkin Seeds Cookies & Halzelnut Cookies

--Pumpkin Seeds Cookies (right)--

Ingredients:

(A)250g butter, 100g icing sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 egg yolks
(B)360g plain flour, 20g corn flour
(C)50g pumpkin seeds

Directions:

1. Beat (A) until creamy, fold in (B) to form a dough.
2. Put dough in mould and press out pattern(or divide into small pieces,press down the balls),put pumpkin seeds on top.
3. Bake at 180*C for 15 mins.Ready to serve after the cookies cool.

Comment: Ppl who tried it said that it was nice..but abit too crunchy...so,remember juz bake for 15 -20 mins....

--Halzelnut Cookies(left)--

Ingredients:

(A)250g margarine, 100g brown sugar, 1 egg
(B)400g plain flour, 80g halzenut powder

Directions:

1. Mix (A) and beat well, stir in (B)
2. Divide into small pieces,press down the balls,use fork to make pattern on top.
3. Bake at 180*C for 15 mins.

Comment: This cookies were not as nice as the pumpkin seeds cookies...but still post it on..hehe...

Green Tea Chocolate Cake

这是我自己配搭出来的蛋糕。可能你会觉得怪怪。。但试过的人觉得还好。。。
Tips: green tea powder cannot put too much..会有苦苦的味道。。

Ingredients:
(A) 4 egg whites, 100g castor sugar
(B) 4 egg yolks, 120g castor sugar
(C) 3 tbsps corn oil
(D) 230g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp green tea powder
(E) 500g fresh cream, 15 strawberries(slices),choc for spread

Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 150*C,brush 8 inches cake pan with butter.
2. Whisk (A) and beat (B)(until creamy) seperately, then stir (A) and (B) together. Add in (D) mix well and stir in corn oil in one same direction.
3. Pour batter into cake pan, bake at 150*C for 45 mins. Remove and leave it to cool at the colling rack. Then cut into 2 layers.
4. Brush a thin layer of fresh cream on cake,put sliced strawberries on top and cover with another layer of cake(with cream). Cover whole cake with choc spread. Then make decoration. Ready to serve.

Black Cherry Cake

This cake is the first whole cake that I make with decoration...did it in June 2005 during the "baking class" with Shiang Yuan and Shumin.....my decoration skill was not that good that time.....taste of the cake not bad....=)

Serving:8

Ingredients:
(A) 4 egg whites, 100g castor sugar
(B) 4 egg yolks, 120g castor sugar
(C) 3 tbsps corn oil
(D) 230g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder
(E) 500g fresh cream, 400g black cherry jam, 8 cherries, chocolate rice

Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 150*C,brush 8 inches cake pan with butter.
2. Whisk (A) and beat (B)(until creamy) seperately, then stir (A) and (B) together. Add in (D) mix well and stir in corn oil in one same direction.
3. Pour batter into cake pan, bake at 150*C for 45 mins. Remove and leave it to cool at the colling rack. Then cut into 2 layers.
4. Brush a thin layer of fresh cream on cale,spread black cherries jam on top and cover with another layer of cake. Cover cake with fresh cream. Then make decoration. Ready to serve.
